Role

To assist the Finance Director and the Financial Controller to manage the accounts of an international branded business. This is a hands-on role processing transactions and resolving issues, statutory reporting, and assisting in preparing the monthly and annual accounts.

Job Specification

Production on monthly management accounts
Prepare the monthly reconciliations for both the US and UK
Responsibilities will involve the normal accounting functions of a business, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, nominal, and bank, including data entry and account reconciliations.
Assist with daily operational financial matters
Assist in the production or internal reports.
Reconciliation of website and marketplace transactions to customer ledgers and banks in multicurrency for both the UK and US.
Prepare reports and invoices for multiple sales reps and sales rep groups.
Prepare payments for authorisation for both US and UK
Answer questions from customer and suppliers when required
Help the customer service team when necessary
Plan, organise, and manage your own workload to ensure your contribution to the company’s monthly financial reporting process are achieved in a timely and accurate manner.
Any other duties that may be deemed appropriate to this role.

Personal Skills

Management Accounts experience essential as main part of the role.
Knowledge of the MS Office suite including Excel to an advanced level.
Some experience of SAP Business 1 or other large ERP system desirable.

Qualifications

AAT qualified with experience within a medium-sized multinational, multicurrency company.
