IT Support Engineer
Seymour John are working in partnership with a leading manufacturing company based in Bridgnorth, Shropshire and they seek to recruit an IT Support Engineer to report directly into the IT Manager. In this role your duties will include providing initial technical support to telephone and email requests from IT users, enforcing and auditing the application of the IT Policy, maintaining, and supporting the existing IT and telecom infrastructure, managing and overseeing printer toner usage and basic server administration.
To be considered for this role you will have a recognised formal IT qualification or demonstrable experience in relevant fields along with a good understanding of MS operating systems including Windows XP/7. In addition to possessing excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the successful candidate will also have a good understanding of networks including TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP. They should also be a confident user of, and able to provide advice and support on, Microsoft Office products. Experience of using Active Directory is desirable.
