The Opportunity

A great opportunity for a HR Generalist to take on full responsibility for performing HR related tasks for the UK and Italy regional offices. It would be highly advantageous for the ideal candidate to have knowledge or exposure to the IT industry Sector.

Skills/ Experience

• Providing support and guidance on all employee relation issues and making appropriate recommendations
• Support managers and employees on company policies and procedures, legislation, and performance management 
• Manage the full recruitment process to include job descriptions, sourcing, screening, interviewing, talent selection, offer process and newcomer orientation
• Anticipate employee relations issues and adopt a proactive approach to resolve and / or minimise the impact of those issues
• Liaise with legal advice agency where necessary
• Develop HR policies and procedures for company approval, including implementation and deployment
• Promotes all policies and procedures and supports Management as required  
• Update and maintain HR Information System data
• HR admin activities
• Administration of company schemes including cars, pension, healthcare
• Maintain company organisation charts, HR information system and employee changes including promotions, relocations, reclassifications, and terminations.
• Manage monthly payroll – to include starters, leavers, promotions and benefits
• Produce bonus and commission calculations
• Analyse training needs in conjunction with departmental managers
• Promote equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organisation
• Perform other related duties as required

Essential:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar HR role
• CIPD Level 3 qualified
• Working toward CIPD Level 5
• Advanced office and IT skills (Excel, Word, PPT)
• Experience in the IT industry is a plus
• Excellent communication skills, ability to build strong working relationships, good attention to detail, a hands on approach, ability to work independently and a positive attitude
