Pennine Care NHS FT have recently been through a corporate restructure and are now ready to appoint to a number of vacant roles. Mental health services are facing unprecedented growth and expansion and an increased presence in the media with athletes and celebrities openly discussing their conditions. As such there has never been a more exciting time to join an NHS mental health provider.
This particular role is a Costing Accountant, and we are looking for individuals who may not be currently working in the NHS but if you have the relevant experience and desire to work in the NHS, we’d like to hear from you.
The post will also be responsible for national cost collections and the development of reporting across the organisation to ensure that results are clearly communicated and where necessary education sessions take place to enhance understanding of the outputs.
Alongside the above, this post will ensure that there are appropriate financial controls are in place to maintain and deliver the financial duties and objectives of the Trust in relation to costing.
The post holder will be responsible for the ongoing production of Service Line reporting / Locality reporting information ensuring data is produced in an accurate and timely manner and the outputs are embedded within the Trust’s financial reporting structures.
